Induksi Organogenesis Eksplan Cauliflower pada Media Cair dengan Beberapa Perlakuan Sterilisasi

Sterilisasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang membantu dalam suksesi organogenesis. Instrumen sterilisasi dapat berbeda tergantung jenis eksplan dan genotipe tanaman. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode terbaik dalam sterilisasi tanaman kembang kol untuk mendukung organogenesis dalam media cair. Diantara metode sterilisasi berbeda yang diuji, perlakuan sterilisasi menggunakan perendaman clorox 30% selama 15 menit, pembilasan tiga kali air steril, perendaman clorox 10% selama 10 menit, dan pembilasan satu kali air steril adalah menunjukkan persentase eksplan hidup 100% pada 27 hari setelah inisiasi. Metode sterilisasi yang menggunakan clorox tersebut berpotensi untuk studi lebih lanjut dan menjadi protokol sterilisasi yang efektif dan efisien untuk tanaman kembang kol.
